First post!

Bonjour peeps!  🌤
Well, today is our second HCI class. We were introduced to the fundamental of Human-Computer Interaction. What it actually is and where do we see it in our daily lives. Believe it or not, HCI is just everywhere! Getting a car park ticket at the mall? Booking a hotel room online? They are all related to the interaction between Human and Computer!

Alright, back to the class.

Madam Siti Rokhmah also mentioned about bad and good HCIs. After we got to grasp the idea, we were divided into five big groups. I got to be in Group 5. Together with Mustaqim, Sofieya, Nurin, Hashni, Mugi, Danial Hariz, Ros Danial, Tan, Rasydan and Kinesh, we were assigned to come out with the idea of an effective and efficient website for kids to learn Science.

First of all, we listed down all of the target or potential users. We then figured out the problems that are usually faced by the users. Based on the problems we have figured out, we came out with another list of essential elements that should be taken into consideration. Next, we chose four best elements for usability and another four for user experience.

As you can see in the picture above. We focused more on simple, clear and understandable words for navigations or buttons to avoid misconception and confusion, especially for the kids. We also focused on the layout, design and graphic of the website so that it will be eye-catching and interesting. Videos, games, and quizzes were also included to boost up the learning process.

Ultimately, it was fun to be working in the group with these people. Each and every one of them did propose a lot of excellent viewpoints. Kudos to all!! 🌷
